At the New York International Auto Show last month, there was a variety of supercars, new hybrid concepts, future cars, and a lot more on display, but Honda stole the show. Want to know how? By introducing an everyday feature on its popular Odyssey van that families in the greater Franklin, TN area are really going to enjoy.

With the new Honda Odyssey, there will be no more trips to the car cleaning center because Honda built-in a vacuum cleaner in the trunk. That's right, no more bringing your household one out in to the driveway or garage to clean up messes, it's all right there. It works the same way central vacuum systems in the home does, once you fill the canister installed in the side paneling, you just empty it out. The new feature is able to easily reach every nook and cranny of the vehicle, and could even clean out your second new Honda model if it's close by.

It's such a great concept that we are certainly wondering why nobody thought of this sooner. Sometimes, the simplest solutions are the best ones. If the built-in vacuum is a success like we here at Darrell Waltrip Honda think it will be, perhaps the automaker will add it to other vehicles in the new Honda lineup.

If you are interested in checking out the new Honda Odyssey and vacuum feature,  it should be on our lot later this year. In the meantime, feel free to stop in to 1430 Murfreesboro Rd where we'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, and set up test drives at your convenience.
