Darrell Waltrip Honda, serving Franklin, Nashville, Murfreesboro and Madison TN, has a riddle for you. Where can you find both Honda technology and Dr.Seuss-inspired decorations? Give up? At the 2013 Rose Parade.

Held every year in Pasadena, California to usher in the New Year, the grand event features the Rose Bowl college football game, marching bands, brightly-colored costumes, and of course, plenty of flower-covered floats. As one of the premier sponsors of the Rose Parade, Honda has put forth perhaps one of the most enthusiastic floats of all.

Featured as the first float of the parade, the Honda "Follow Your Dreams" creation depicts a variety of innovative Honda technologies with the event's Dr.Seuss theme worked in. Specifically, participants will be marching to the whimsical theme of "Oh, the Places You'll Go!"

Sally M. Bixby, Tournament of Roses President, says, "The world of endless possibilities that awaits us all is creatively displayed on the Honda float...'Follow Your Dreams' is a wonderful first float."1

In addition to hosting the premier float, Honda will provide a 2013 Honda Accord Sedan as the parade's official pace car and a 2013 Honda Accord Coupe as the sound car.

Of course, being the eco-friendly automaker it is, Honda will be propelling its stellar float with a special hybrid, low-emissions engine to help reduce emissions while spreading cheer.

To catch the Honda "Follow Your Dreams" float in action be sure to tune into the Rose Parade on New Year's day, January 1. Then, swing by and let our new Honda vehicle team know what you think.
